  • What are the lease terms for a lockout studio?

    All lockout studios are rented on a month-to-month basis, giving you flexibility. A 30-day written notice is required to terminate the lease.

  • What are the rules regarding the use of the lockout studio?

    No living: Lockout studios are strictly for creative use and not for residential living.

    No unauthorized appliances: Hotplates, electric heaters, and microwaves are not allowed unless approved by management.

    Maintenance: You are expected to keep your space clean and report any damages immediately.

    Noise control: While the lockouts are designed for music, excessive noise that disturbs other tenants may not be tolerated.

  • Are the lockout soundproof?

    Our lockout studios are designed to minimize sound leakage and provide a conducive environment for rehearsals and recordings. However, they are not completely soundproof. We encourage all tenants to be mindful of noise levels, especially during daytime hours, to avoid disturbing others. Note that our rooms have PLENTY of space between them and we only have a select number of studios available.

  • What security measures are in place?

    The studio is secured with cameras in common areas and entrances. Lockout studios have code-based locks that are monitored by management. Tenants are responsible for keeping their access codes secure and reporting any unauthorized access immediately.

  • Are there any restrictions on the type of activities allowed in the lockout studio?

    Lockout studios are intended for music-related activities such as rehearsals, recording, and production. Any activities that violate local laws, create unsafe conditions, or are unrelated to music may result in termination of the lease.

    Any alterations or improvements, including the installation of temporary booths or builds, must be approved by management. Unauthorized alterations may result in immediate termination of the lease.

    To terminate your lockout lease, you must provide a 30-day written notice to management. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in the forfeiture of your security deposit.

    Yes, tenants are required to:

    Regularly clean their lockout space and maintain a reasonable organization of equipment.

    Ensure that all trash is disposed of properly and that the studio is left in a clean and orderly state.
