The Residency Program at blackngold.studio provides musicians, producers, and bands with a dedicated weekly time slot in one of our professional studios. You’ll have access to our full backline and recording gear during your reserved time without the hassle of hourly bookings. It’s an ideal setup for those looking for a place to call home, rehearse, or work on recording projects consistently.

Once you sign up, you’ll be assigned a specific day and time each week where the studio is yours. You'll have access to our studio space during that period, including all of the equipment, so you can come in and work on your music uninterrupted. The first 3 months of residency serve as a trial period to make sure it’s the right fit for you. After that, the residency renews on a 6-month term.

As a resident, you get:

Full access to our backline, including drums, amps, microphones, PA system, and more.

Professional-grade recording gear, such as preamps, interfaces, and studio mics.

Comfortable and well-designed live rooms to enhance your creative process.

A professional recording space that’s fully stocked and maintained by our team.

There is a higher cost for the initial 3 month period. Prices change depending on the day / time you’d like to book but rates start at $300 a month.

While you’re welcome to bring your own gear, blackngold.studio is fully equipped with a wide range of professional recording and backline equipment. This includes drum kits, amps, mics, and more, so most residents find they don’t need to bring much.

We understand schedules change! If you'd like to adjust your time slot, please reach out, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request based on studio availability. We also encourage residents to let us know if they can’t make their slot, though it’s not required.

Absolutely! While you have your designated residency slot each week, you can always book extra time in the studio. Just reach out to us, and we’ll work out the details based on the studio’s availability.

Residency runs on a 6-month commitment after the initial 3-month trial.
